Financial Compliance Officer

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organization along with our real estate holding companies adheres to the agreed upon financial reporting and loan covenants. This position requires a strong understanding of financial concepts, compliance management, and loan underwriting. The Compliance Financial Officer will be responsible for maintaining compliance and working closely with our financial controller.*Duties** Develop, implement, and monitor bank financial request and loan covenant compliance.* Conduct internal review of operating assets and identify areas for improvement.* Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with financial institutions and financial compliance with government programs.* Prepare property based and portfolio reports and documentation as required by our preferred group of financial institutions.* Monitor changes in bank legislation and assess their impact on the organization's operations.* Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters, including updates occurring in the financial industry and property management world.* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial software tools that support compliance management processes.*Requirements** Proven experience in compliance management within banking or public accounting environments.* Strong knowledge of credit analyst systems and/or banking branch management* Familiarity with financial concepts, regulatory reporting requirements, and bank covenant compliance.* Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail; ability to interpret complex regulations effectively.* Proficiency in financial software applications that facilitate compliance tracking and reporting.* Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.* Knowledge of ACH and Wire procedures with Banks.
