Loads, unloads, and moves materials for distribution or further processing to refine precious metals. Set up, monitor, and prepare materials for processing, refinement, finished product production, and shipment.*REQUIREMENTS** _Knowledge_ - H.S. Diploma or equivalent is required* _Skill_ -Strong math & English skills required; ability to accurately and neatly complete assigned work; must be able to lift up to 70 pounds* _Experience_ - One years' experience in a manufacturing or other similar environment but willing to train right candidate* _Technical -_ Ability to learn and work in a variety of metallurgical refining processes such as electroplating, hydrometallurgical, and finished production work. Working knowledge of refining or plating processes a plus. Good mechanical aptitude and chemical handling abilities a must. Ability to use manual and powered material handling equipment*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** _Procedural Responsibilities_ : Loading material into equipment. Set up of anodes in cells and preparation of electrolyte. Set up and monitoring of various refinery manufacturing and recovery processes. Initiation and monitoring of chemical reactions. Scrubber / dust collector operation and basic maintenance. Operation of chemical distribution equipment, Cl2 & SO2 evaporators, pumps, level controls, etc. Completion of refinery paperwork, including verification and documentation of weights. Performing other remedial duties in the facility as directed by Dept. Supervisor.
