PCS has a geographically diverse workforce and supports hybrid and remote business-based flexibility.Job Summary:The Regulatory Attorney is responsible for providing legal support and strategic guidance on insurance regulatory matters affecting PCS. This role includes legal research, contract oversight, regulatory monitoring, product review support, and issue resolution. The attorney will work cross-functionally with Compliance, Distribution, Product, Underwriting, Operations, and external partners to ensure PCS operates in full compliance with applicable laws and contractual obligations. The Regulatory Attorney reports directly to PCS's Chief Legal and Compliance Officer (CL&CO). Remote work may be considered for qualified candidates.Key Responsibilities:Legal Research, Review, and GuidanceResearch and provide legal guidance on insurance regulatory and related issues/questions.Review and approve all NDAs.Coordinate with CL&CO to review and approve PCS contracts, agreements, and documents.Oversee PCS contract and other legal documentation. Regulatory Updates and ReportingDevelop and maintain database of insurance and other regulations applicable to PCS business.Research and monitor legal and compliance regulatory matters for all PCS lines of business.Internally communicate current and upcoming changes in laws, regulations, and licensing requirements.Product and UnderwritingActively monitor state regulatory form, rate, and guideline changes and advise Product team on proper operational changes and new processes to appropriately implement requirements.Collaborate with carriers and Product team to develop manuscript endorsements as necessary.Coordinate with Underwriting and Operations teams and capacity provider legal teams to ensure PCS's compliance with delegated authority limits.Align with Operations team to ensure PCS services align with contract and regulatory obligations.Complaints and Issues ResolutionCoordinate with HR and Compliance to resolve PCS employee issues/inquiries.Coordinate with Compliance and Distribution to resolve producer issues.Work with Compliance and carrier partners to resolve complaints and inquiries from customers.Respond to inquiries raised via PCS's website.LicensingCoordinate with Compliance to ensure PCS complies with licensing requirements for PCS entities and employees, producers, and affiliates.InvestigationsAt the CL&CO's direction, investigate complaints, concerns, potential policy or law violations, or other matters.Equal Employment Opportunity Policy:PCS values and is fully committed to diversity and inclusion.
