Fairmount is hiring a dining server who wants to learn to cook in our skilled and personal care residential areas.  Position: Dining Server, 32 hours / weekHours: 6am - 2pm and 11am - 7pm; including every other weekend holiday rotation Starting Pay: $16.85 - 18.20 per hour, plus +$1 evenings, +$1.25 weekendsJob Benefits of Dining Server:Employee discounts at the Fairmount CaféPaid Time Off (PTO) plan401K planDental / Vision Benefits Medical Benefits (for 32 hours / week) This position is responsible for assisting the Wheat Ridge cooks in the preparation and service of quality food, while complying with sanitation and safety regulations. Qualifications of Dining Server:Must have basic knowledge of safe and sanitary food and equipment handling practices.Personal hygiene and dress must conform with required standards.Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written instructions. Must be competent and conscientious with a customer-oriented approach.Must support the mission and values of Fairmount Homes. Essential Duties of Dining Server:Ensure residents receive diets as ordered. Deliver hot foods, cold foods, and liquids, to specified locations for each meal. Checks, records, and report refrigerator and freezer temperatures in service kitchens.Maintain safety and sanitation standards in work areas in accordance with facility standards.Work with nursing team members to serve meals in Healthcare and Personal Care. Assist Cooks with portioning cold food items.  Stock service kitchens with food, supplements, and supplies between meals. Assist at dishwasher with collecting, washing, unloading, and storing dishes following each meal.
