Castle Development Group is seeking a detail-driven Assistant Project Manager to support our growing portfolio of commercial construction projects. In this role, you’ll assist in managing healthcare and office developments from preconstruction through closeout—with a strong focus on scheduling, Microsoft Project, and coordination. If you’re highly organized, technically sharp, and ready to grow within a high-performing team, we’d love to connect.A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with project execution from bidding and preconstruction through project turnoverDevelop and maintain detailed schedules in Microsoft Project; track critical path and milestone datesManage submittals, RFIs, permits, and change orders in collaboration with project managersCoordinate with superintendents, vendors, architects, and engineers to maintain alignment and momentumHelp develop and track budgets, procurement logs, and cost updatesParticipate in site walks, quality checks, and punch list resolutionEnsure project files, documentation, and logs are accurate and up to dateSupport effective communication between internal teams, clients, and external partnersAddress project issues and help keep workflows efficient and solutions-focusedPerform other duties as needed to support successful project deliveryRequirements2–4 years of experience in commercial construction or development support; medical project experience a plusStrong command of Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)Familiarity with construction workflows including budgeting, permitting, and document controlExperience with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or ViewpointUnderstanding of construction documents, architectural drawings, and specificationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing competing prioritiesSelf-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentPerks & BenefitsAt Castle Development Group, we believe in rewarding great work and investing in our people.
