Blending Operator

This role is the first step toward a career in blending and is responsible for creating ingredient batches according to customer specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced production environment.Key Responsibilities:Perform the Clean In Place (CIP) process from start to finish, ensuring quality standards are met.Prepare ingredient batches according to customer specifications.Set up and operate batching equipment independently.Verify all ingredients for compliance and readiness; collaborate with team members as needed.Clean and sanitize workstations to prevent cross-contamination.Communicate shortages or issues to supervisors or team leads.Maintain working knowledge of equipment and troubleshoot minor issues; collaborate with other departments for assistance.Complete all documentation accurately and promptly.Support overall operations with additional tasks as assigned.Qualifications:High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.Competency in basic math, reading, and writing.Strong attention to detail and follow-through on tasks.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Previous batching or production experience preferred.Requirements:Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs.Ability to operate machinery and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching.Ability to work safely and follow all safety procedures.Ability to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods.Regular attendance and punctuality.Core Competencies:AdaptabilityAction-OrientedDetail-OrientedConfident CommunicationTrustworthyEqual Opportunity Statement: This employer is an equal opportunity employer.
