Description:Do you have the skills to fill this role Read the complete details below, and make your application today.Ranco Fertiservice, Inc., a premier manufacturer of dry fertilizer blending and handling equipment located in Sioux Rapids, IA.We are seeking a skilled, motivated and dependable individual to join our team as a Production Machinist at Ranco.As a Machinist, you will play a key role in our manufacturing process by setting up, programing, and running a CNC vertical mill and operating and maintaining other precision machinery to create high-quality parts and components.As part of our growing team, you’ll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment in a collaborative environment that values safety, training, and career growth.Requirements:Set up, program, operate, and maintain CNC vertical mill and/or manual machining equipment and manual lathe.Requires a strong understanding of machining principles and the ability to optimize processes for productivity and quality.Detects and reports defective materials, identifies non-conforming parts, and relieves from inventory as necessary and produces accurate components.Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety and cleanliness procedures.Works at different workstations as needs require or shifts between stations.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements.Adhere to safety guidelines, company policies, and industry regulationsQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have proven track record in work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of both.Able to use and apply problem-solving techniques and analytical skills.Able to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and work with fractions and decimals.May perform milling, drilling, tapping, de-burring, sawing, and sanding tasks.Strong knowledge of machining principles, tools, and cutting parameters.Knowledge with ERP software.
