Diesel Mechanic

If you have hands-on experience with construction machinery and can fabricate parts and components as needed, this is an excellent opportunity to join a solid team with year-round work.*Key Responsibilities:** Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems on construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, and skid steers.* Perform regular preventative maintenance and inspections.* Fabricate, weld, and modify parts, attachments, and structural components.* Troubleshoot field issues and perform mobile repairs when necessary.* Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.* Ensure all work meets safety standards and company guidelines.*Qualifications:** 3+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably with heavy construction equipment.* Skilled in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.* Strong fabrication ability—capable of building and modifying metal components from blueprints or on-the-fly solutions.* Solid understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems.* Ability to work independently in the shop and in the field.* Valid driver’s license required (CDL a plus).*Preferred Experience:** Field service truck operation and job site repairs.* Familiarity with DOT and OSHA safety regulations.Join our team of dedicated professionals where your skills will be valued, and your contributions will make a difference!Job Type: Full-timePay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 – 45 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* Monday to Friday* Weekends as neededAbility to Commute:* Bryan, OH 43506 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Bryan, OH 43506: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
