Final compensation will be based off applicants experience level.Any additional information you require for this job can be found in the below text Make sure to read thoroughly, then apply.Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities and Duties* Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines and related systems on both semi-tractors and refrigerated trailers.* Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections* Utilize diagnostic tools to identify mechanical issues* Replace or repair faulty parts, including engines, transmissions, and fuel systems* Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies* Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently* Stay updated on the latest industry practices and technologiesDiesel Mechanic Qualifications and Skills* Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components* Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and repair tools* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills* Physical stamina and the ability to work in various conditions* Effective communication and teamwork skillsEducation and Experience Requirements* High school diploma or equivalent* Completion of a diesel technology program or vocational training is preferred* ASE Diesel Certification is a plus* Minimum of 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic* Valid driver’s license; CDL preferredJob Type: Full-timePay: $28.45 - $34.26 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Retirement planSchedule:* 8 hour shiftExperience:* Diesel Mechanic : 3 years (Required)Work Location: In person
