Senior Estimator Heavy Civil

In this role, you will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs and ensuring that all aspects of the construction projects are accounted for. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, project management, and cost control, along with proficiency in industry-standard software such as Bluebeam, AGTEK, and Sharp. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding our projects from the bidding phase through to successful completion.*Responsibilities** Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead.* Analyze blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements and scope.* Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.* Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable pricing.* Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.* Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data for estimating purposes.* Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to each project.* Conduct bid reviews with the construction and management teams prior to submission.*Experience** Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of construction management principles.* Familiarity with cost control practices and pricing strategies within the construction industry.* Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successfully managing contracts.* Experience in project management within a construction environment is highly desirable.* Previous construction site experience is advantageous for understanding practical applications of estimates.
