We are committed to compassionate, professional care for families at every step of the funeral process and to supporting our team with a respectful, team-focused workplace.Position SummaryWe are seeking a licensed, compassionate Funeral Director to coordinate and oversee funeral services and aftercare. You will guide families through arrangements, direct services, manage logistics, and ensure compliance with state regulations while delivering dignified, attentive care.Key Responsibilities* Meet with families to discuss funeral, memorial, and burial/cremation options and prepare detailed arrangements* Coordinate and direct funeral, memorial services, visitations, and graveside services* Handle documentation and regulatory compliance (death certificates, permits, cemetery forms)* Supervise or perform preparation of remains (embalming if licensed/required), dressing, and cosmetology as needed* Coordinate with clergy, cemeteries, crematories, florists, and other service providers* Provide bereavement support and referrals to families* Maintain accurate records, funeral home facilities, and equipment* Participate in on-call rotation, including nights/weekends and holiday coverage* Train and mentor support staff and apprentices as neededQualifications* Current Texas Funeral Director License required* Texas Embalmer License preferred or willingness to obtain (if role requires embalming)* Minimum 1–3 years’ experience as a funeral director preferred; new graduates with strong interpersonal skills will be considered* Strong organizational, communication, and customer-service skills* Compassionate demeanor, ability to work with grieving families with sensitivity and professionalism* Valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record* Must pass background check and drug screenCompensation & Benefits* Competitive salary, commensurate with experience* Health, dental, and vision insurance* Paid time off and paid holidays* Continuing education support* Supportive team environment and career growth opportunitiesHow to ApplyPlease send your resume and a brief cover letter to: ahernandez@ or call (817)594-2747 for more information.
