Job Title: Inventory Control Data AnalystLocation: Flower Mound, TX 75028 (2 days a week onsite, occasional travel if needed)Job Type: 6 month contract with potential for extensionRead the overview of this opportunity to understand what skills, including and relevant soft skills and software package proficiencies, are required.Overview:We are looking for a skilled and analytical Data Analyst to join our inventory focused supply chain team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in data analysis with a strong command of SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. This role will play a critical part in turning complex data into actionable insights to drive decision-making for a major supply chain modernization initiative.Key Responsibilities: Extract, clean, and analyze large data sets from multiple sources to support supply chain operationsBuild interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to communicate key trends and KPIsWrite complex SQL queries to access and manipulate structured data from relational databasesPartner with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and deliver insights to improve supply chain efficiencyPerform root cause analysis of supply chain issues using historical and real-time dataDevelop recurring reports to monitor inventory, vendor performance, lead times, and service levelsIdentify opportunities for process improvement through data modeling and predictive analyticsMaintain data accuracy and integrity across reports, dashboards, and databasesQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field3–5 years of experience minimum in a data analyst role, ideally within a supply chain, logistics, oroperations settingAdvanced SQL skills, with experience querying and transforming large data setsProficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platformsStrong understanding of supply chain concepts and key performance indicators (KPIs)High attention to detail, data accuracy, and analytical thinkingExcellent communication skills and the ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical audiencesPreferred Qualifications:Experience with SAPExperience with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift)Background in forecasting, inventory optimization, or supply planning analytics
