This leadership pharmacist role will oversee specialty home infusion pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while guiding a dedicated pharmacy team. This is a 13-week contract with strong potential for extension or direct hire. Candidates must be open to travel for training at our facilities in Texas, Ohio, and other locations. Position Highlights Pay Rate: $65$90/hour (W2) Schedule: MondayFriday, 8-hour day shifts (no weekends, no overnights) Location: Sacramento, CA Type: Travel Contract (Temp-to-Hire Potential) Start Date: ASAP Specialty Area: Home Infusion Pharmacy / Specialty Pharmacy Job Duties & Responsibilities Serve as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) and ensure compliance with California Board of Pharmacy requirements and URAC/ACHC accreditation standards Supervise pharmacy staff including pharmacists, technicians, and warehouse team members Direct and manage daily clinical and operational activities for home infusion and specialty pharmacy services Monitor quality assurance programs, patient safety, and regulatory compliance Provide staff training, coaching, and performance evaluations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflow efficiency and meet budgetary goals Travel for onboarding/training at additional company sites in Texas, Ohio, and other locations Required Qualifications Active California pharmacist license Texas pharmacist license (or ability/willingness to obtain) Minimum 2+ years of leadership experience as a Pharmacist in Charge, Pharmacy Manager, or Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor Experience in home infusion pharmacy, specialty infusion services, or specialty pharmacy operations Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, pharmacy operations management, and accreditation processes How to Apply: Email your updated resume to Thomas Tatham at thomas.tatham@ ?
