Location: Ohio (Remote Must be licensed in Ohio) Employment Type: Full-Time 1099 Contract About Us: We are seeking a licensed and experienced Remote Physical Therapist to provide virtual services to students with physical and motor skill needsin Ohio. Join our collaborative, student-centered team in a flexible, remote setting. Job Summary: The Remote School-Based Physical Therapist will assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy services for students with physical disabilities or delays that impact their educational participation. Using secure telehealth platforms, the therapist will collaborate with educators, caregivers, and other professionals to support student mobility, access, and independence in the school environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform virtual physical therapy evaluations and re-evaluations. Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and treatment plans. Provide teletherapy sessions tailored to students developmental and functional needs. Collaborate with IEP teams, teachers, and parents to support student participation in school activities. Educate school personnel on strategies to support physical access and mobility. Monitor and document student progress in compliance with federal, state, and district regulations. Recommend adaptive equipment or modifications to support physical access in the learning environment. Provide support for transition planning and accessibility needs. Maintain confidentiality and ensure secure delivery of virtual services. Qualifications: Required: Doctorate or Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Current Ohio Physical Therapist License (Ohio OTPTAT Board). Minimum of 1 year experience in pediatric or school-based physical therapy. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Proficiency in telehealth platforms and documentation systems. Knowledge of IDEA, IEP processes, and special education law. Preferred: Experience delivering teletherapy in school settings. Familiarity with virtual tools and adaptive technology. Bilingual/multilingual candidates encouraged to apply. Work Environment: Fully remote must have a private, professional workspace.
