Soliant isseeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood School Psychologist to join our educational team in Delaware. The successful candidate will support the developmental, emotional, and educational needs of young children (ages 35), working collaboratively with educators, families, and specialists to promote school readiness and positive learning experiences.Please ensure you read the below overview and requirements for this employment opportunity completely. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for children ages 35 to assess cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral functioning. Participate in multidisciplinary evaluation teams and help determine eligibility for early intervention or special education services under IDEA Part B. Provide consultation to teachers, families, and staff regarding child development, behavior management, and instructional strategies. Develop and support implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Assist in the transition of students from early intervention (Part C) to preschool special education (Part B). Deliver crisis intervention and behavioral support services as needed. Monitor progress and conduct re-evaluations in compliance with federal and state timelines. Serve as a resource in early childhood development and mental health within the school community. Maintain appropriate documentation in accordance with Delaware Department of Education regulations and district policies. Qualifications: Required: Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from a NASP-approved program Valid Delaware Department of Education School Psychologist Certification Knowledge of Delaware special education laws and early childhood guidelines Experience working with children ages 35 in school or clinical settings Preferred: Bilingual (Spanish/English) proficiency Experience with early intervention programs or preschool assessment tools (e.g., Battelle, DAYC-2, WPPSI) Familiarity with trauma-informed practices and culturally responsive assessments Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of early childhood development and learning theories Ability to build rapport with young children and their families Excellent written and verbal communication skills Collaborative and interdisciplinary approach to service delivery Strong organizational and time-management skills Salary & Benefits: Competitive salary based on education and experience (between $55-60 per hour) Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401Kcontributions OPEN FOR TRAVEL ASSIGNMENT
