A full-time Intervention Specialist position is available at an elementary school setting in Columbus, OH, for a contract duration through the current school year, ending May 22, 2026. This role primarily involves supporting students with special education needs, focusing on an elementary caseload largely consisting of kindergarten through second grade.A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully.Key Responsibilities:Provide specialized instruction and pull-out services to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Learning Disabilities (LD)Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student needsCollaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and parents to support student progressMonitor and document student growth and adjust instructional strategies accordinglyFoster an inclusive and supportive learning environmentQualifications:Valid Special Education teaching certificationExperience working with elementary-aged students, particularly kindergarten through second gradeStrong knowledge of evidence-based interventions for ASD and learning disabilitiesAbility to manage a caseload of approximately 6 ASD and 5-10 LD studentsEffective communication and collaboration skillsSchedule and Location:Full-time position, Monday through FridayHours: 8:40 a.m. to 4:10 p.m.Located in Columbus, OhioThis role is ideal for a dedicated special education professional passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young learners requiring specialized interventions.
