A K-12 school in San Francisco, CA is seeking multiple Paraprofessionals for the 2025-2026 school year on a contract basis. This opportunity offers 30 hours per week, from August 11, 2025, through May 29, 2026, with daily hours of 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The schedule includes a paid 10-minute break and a 30-minute unpaid lunch.All potential applicants are encouraged to scroll through and read the complete job description before applying.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct support to students at a single school site.Collect student data as directed by the Behavior Supervisor or Special Education (SPED) teacher.Maintain professionalism, calmness, and flexibility in all interactions with students, supervisors, and colleagues.Assist specialists with school readiness activities, pre-academic skills, and fostering positive social interactions during recess and group settings.Demonstrate excellent attendance and reliability.Qualifications:Minimum of an Associates Degree (AA) is required.Must possess a valid drivers license and have personal transportation to commute to and from work.Residency within the San Mateo/San Francisco Bay Area is mandatory (candidates from the East Bay or South Bay will not be considered).Preferred Experience:At least 2 years of current school-based paraprofessional experience.Strong skills in data collection.Background in behavioral support.Safety Care training is highly desirable.This role offers a meaningful chance to impact student success while working within a supportive school environment.
