Senior Maritime Safety Specialist

Job SummaryAs a Safety Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of cast, crew, and guests across the fleet and private islands. This role requires a strong understanding of National, International Rules/Regulations, and Class requirements.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with safety teams to develop and implement safety procedures and protocols.Conduct regular vessel and island inspections to ensure compliance with Company Safety Standards.Review and update maintenance schedules based on ship survey findings and results.Develop and maintain operational requirements for riding teams under the direction of safety managers.Coordinate short-term and long-term repair and planned maintenance work for safety-related equipment and machinery.Lead organizational activities in planning, preparation, and execution of riding teams and special projects.Identify and implement new technologies to improve safety and efficiency.Collaborate with stakeholders to advance technical operating practices, procedures, and standards.Maintain accurate records and documentation, including AMOS jobs and assembly plans.Required Skills and Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of experience in a deck/engineering or safety officer role, or equivalent experience as a naval architect or marine engineer.Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.Ability to influence leadership with strategic and collaborative approach.Demonstrated communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.Self-starter with ability to handle confidential information.
