We're looking for a skilled *Mechanic* to join our Shop team in Moscow, Idaho. If you take pride in quality repairs, enjoy working with a team, and value a steady, reliable schedule, we’d love to hear from you.*What You’ll Do** Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on refuse and recycling trucks, heavy equipment, forklifts, and other machinery* Inspect and test equipment to ensure it operates safely and efficiently* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with minimal supervision* Maintain clean and organized workspaces and tools* Collaborate with team members and communicate professionally with supervisors* Complete documentation and maintenance reports accurately and on time* Perform light welding and fabrication as needed* Follow all safety protocols and support a safety-first work culture*What We’re Looking For**Required:** High school diploma or equivalent* CDL (or willingness to obtain one)* Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel trucks and heavy equipment* Familiarity with hand and power tools, must have your own basic hand tools* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills* Flexibility to work on-call weekends as part of a rotating schedule* Valid driver’s license, clean background check, and pre-employment drug test*Preferred:** Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in heavy equipment repair*Why Work With Us?**Benefits Include:** Health, dental, and vision insurance (individual and family plans available)* 401(k) with company match* Paid time off and company holidays* Paid parental leave* Opportunities for training* Company swag and employee appreciation events* A team-oriented culture where your work makes a differenceJob Type: Full-timePay: From $23.00 per hourExpected hours: No less than 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* Day shift* Monday to Friday* On call* Weekends as neededAbility to Relocate:* Moscow, ID 83843: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
