Cash Applications AnalystReports to: Business Unit ControllerClassification: Full – Time, in officePosition Summary:The Cash Applications Specialist is responsible for all accounts receivable administrative functions.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Process and reconcile incoming cash payments, checks, and electronic transfers.Receives, researches and resolves a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons.Perform periodic audits of the general ledger and company financial documents.Communicate and collaborate with customers, internal stakeholders, and external stakeholders regarding customer-related inquiries and concerns.Manage customer relations and build effective partnerships.Partner with Manager to identify and implement process improvements.Assist team with gathering support for all audits, including pulling documentation.Assist in ad hoc projects as needed.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty.
