Neurocritical Care (NCC)/Neurotrauma Faculty PositionMake sure to apply quickly in order to maximise your chances of being considered for an interview Read the complete job description below.Department of NeurosurgeryUniversity of California, Los AngelesFull time Assistant or Associate faculty position in Neurosurgery at UCLAThe Department of Neurosurgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is seeking a neurosurgeon or neurologist with focus and expertise in Neurocritical Care (NCC) & Neurotrauma. Candidates must have an M.D. and completed an ACGME-accredited Neurosurgery or Neurology residency program, as well as an ACGME accredited Neurocritical Care Fellowship or CAST-accredited Neurotrauma Fellowship. Must be certified, in the process of, or eligible for certification by the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS) or other ABMS board. The candidate must be interested in educating both neurosurgery residents and neurocritical care fellows and have a strong interest in research. Excellent communication skills and interest in working in a collaborative / team-oriented environment are a must. Candidates must have or be eligible for a California medical license. Compensation and academic title will be commensurate with experience.The posted UC salary set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5 scales . The salary range for this position is $173,000 - $457,200.
