This is a 1yr. contract assignment. (W-2) The person will be leading and managing construction, including monitoring tasks, providing feedback, and resolving conflicts. This is for a large-scale solar and battery energy storage project.Location: Jones County, TXWe are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $156,000 - $164,320 annually.This is a 1yr. contract assignment. (W-2)Per diem available at GSA ratesDay to Day: Prioritizes and enforces safety protocols on the job site, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standardsBroad understanding of company policies and proceduresCoordinates with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed effectivelyPerform inspections, maintain QA/QC documents, and audits construction quality, ensuring adherence to standards and specificationsMaintains open communication with team members, clients, and other stakeholders throughout the projectKeeps detailed records of construction activities, progress reports, and safety inspectionsRequirementsExperience in leading and managing construction, including monitoring tasks, providing feedback, and resolving conflictsVast knowledge of electrical schematics, mechanical, civil, and steel structural drawingsThorough understanding of safety regulations and practices, including the ability to identify and mitigate hazardsAbility to identify and resolve issues that may arise during construction, ensuring the project stays on trackFamiliar with concrete work, flat foundations, drill piers, breaker pads, GSU containment pitsWork with EPC to resolve requests for information (RFI) and change ordersPerform material procurement and material take offsReview project after completion and report successes, lessons learned, and opportunities for improvementAble to work safely near equipment energized at hazardous voltage levelsAbility to lift and carry tools, equipment, and materials in hazardous environments and across uneven groundMaintain clean and organized work areaPromote open communication with direct reports to enhance teamwork and report issuesProficient computer skills, including a strong grasp of general software like MS Office (Excel, Word, Project) and potentially specialized software for substation constructionTurnover and support Commissioning efforts through energizationEqual Opportunity Employer including Veterans and Individuals with DisabilitiesFL: Job #18217
