Senior Maintenance Technician

Kreider Farms is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our dedicated maintenance team in a fast-paced food processing and manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of hands-on experience working with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, along with a proven track record in managing maintenance operations.The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of skilled technicians and mechanics, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of all production equipment. You’ll also play a key role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and high-performing facility, driving continuous improvement in equipment reliability and operational efficiency.Additionally, candidates should have project management experience to lead capital improvement initiatives, equipment upgrades, and process optimization projects.Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance roles within a food processing and manufacturing environment.Strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems.Proficiency with CMMS software for maintenance management.Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and troubleshooting automated systems.Prior experience managing or supervising a team of maintenance professionals.Project management experience, with the ability to lead and execute capital improvement projects and equipment installations.Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards in regulated environments.
