Property Manager - Family-Owned Portfolio (Sherman Oaks, CA)Apply below after reading through all the details and supporting information regarding this job opportunity.Location: In Office/ Sherman Oaks, CA 91403Job Type: Full-timeAbout the Role:We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of family-owned residential properties in Los Angeles. This is a hands-on, full-time role ideal for someone with a deep understanding of local rental laws "” especially RSO (Rent Stabilization Ordinance) compliance "” and a proven ability to manage both administrative responsibilities and on-site operations.You will be based primarily out of our Sherman Oaks office, with occasional travel to properties as needed (approximately 10% field work).Key Responsibilities:Ensure full compliance with Los Angeles RSO and all applicable tenant lawsManage day-to-day operations using Yardi (or similar software) "” including work orders, tenant records, rent tracking, and documentationHandle accounts receivable: collect rent, process payments, and manage tenant balancesDraft, deliver, and track legally compliant notices, including rent increases and lease renewalsShow vacant units to prospective tenants and manage the full leasing processCoordinate with subcontractors and vendors for maintenance, repairs, and property improvementsMaintain excellent communication with tenants and ensure timely resolution of issuesOrganize and maintain accurate records for all properties and tenantsQualifications:Minimum 3+ years of experience in property management, preferably in the Los Angeles marketStrong working knowledge of RSO compliance and local housing regulationsProficiency in Yardi, DoorLoop, or comparable property management softwareExcellent organizational and administrative skillsStrong interpersonal and communication abilities "” both written and verbalProven experience managing multiple properties and coordinating with vendorsMust have reliable transportation for periodic site visitsWhat We Offer:Stable, long-term position in a well-established family office environmentAutonomy and trust "” opportunity to make a real impact across our property portfolioSupportive team, flexible structure, and growth potentialHybrid work schedule based in Sherman OaksReady to take ownership of a diverse property portfolio and bring professionalism and care to our family's real estate operations?
