Akkodis is seeking a Project Manager for a Contract position with a client located in Quincy, MA.Rate Range: $65-$70/hr on W2 without benefits. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factorsTitle: Project ManagerJob Types: 6+ Months ContractLocation: Quincy, MA (Hybrid 2 days onsite)Position Summary: A minimum of 5 years' experience managing complex, cross-organizational technology projects within the healthcare industryExperience managing vendor contracts in the healthcare & information technology industry, including experience working with large healthcare systems (commercial payers, Medicaid, Medicare)Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with management, vendors, business and technical project team members; and the ability to translate and communicate technical concepts and information to business staffKnowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Application Programming Interfaces (API),Bachelor's degree or equivalentAbility to document and convey complex concepts in a simple easy to understand manner and formatExperience leading programs/projects with a budget over $1MExperience leading programs/projects of 20+ staff, including vendor contractorsDemonstrated experience of successfully delivering projects from initialization through operationalizationExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.Ability to assess priorities and flexibly meet the dynamic needs of the teamAbility to work independently and process quickly, independently, prioritizing work activitiesStrong problem-solving skills; experience identifying, analyzing and resolving complex problems through structured processesKnowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, such as HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid.Increase your chances of reaching the interview stage by reading the complete job description and applying promptly.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE and SKILLS:Expertise in facilitating discussions, resolving conflicts, and fostering productive team engagementSkilled in eliciting, defining, and formalizing business requirements for complex projectsAbility to clearly articulate project or program needs to accomplish goalsFamiliarity with the Massachusetts healthcare landscape, including key healthcare stakeholders such as payers, providers, and consumersProficiency with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook and PowerPoint.Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is a plus, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and industry best practices.Benefits:Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, an EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
