As part of our Amusement Planning and Procurement team, we're looking for a Crane Buyer who is fluent in Japanese and English to help source and manage high-performing merchandise for our crane machines.This role blends strategy, creativity, and cross-functional collaboration. You'll work closely with vendors, store teams, and marketing to ensure our cranes are stocked with exciting, on-trend items that resonate with our guests.Key Responsibilities:Manage vendor relationships and communications in Japanese and EnglishCurate merchandise based on trends, customer feedback, and store performanceTrack shipments, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory forecastsCollaborate with store teams, marketing, and operations to support product rolloutsMaintain procurement systems and ensure data accuracy across platformsWhat We're Looking For:Fluency in Japanese and English (written and verbal)Strong knowledge of anime, Japanese culture, and pop culture trendsAdvanced Excel skills for forecasting and inventory trackingExcellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsA creative, adaptable mindset with a collaborative spiritBonus Points For:Experience in buying, sourcing, or procurement (especially in retail or entertainment)Background in customer service or retail environmentsStarting Pay:$22-$26/hr based on experienceInsurance Benefits:Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with competitive deductibles and benefit amounts.Retirement Benefits:401(k) Plan:3% employer match on employee contributionsAn additional 2% match on 50% of employee contributionsEligibility begins after a 90-day introductory periodPaid Time Off:Generous vacation policy:10 days in the first year of employment17 days in the second year of employment20 days in the third and fourth years of employment25 days in the fifth year of employment11 observed holidaysMaximum PTO accrual of 300 hoursWork Schedule:Remote Hybrid:Monday to Wednesday: 8 AM - 5 PM (in-office)Thursday to Friday: 8 AM - 5 PM (remote)
