Our clients include many Fortune 500 companies, and our services span:Engineering "” ASHRAE Level 1, 2, and 3 audits, retro-commissioningEnergy project implementationOngoing data analytics, fault detection, and diagnosis (FDD) About the RoleWe are seeking a driven Project Manager who is ready to take on big responsibilities in a growing, passionate team.In this role, you will be manage projects ranging from $250,000 to $8 million, supporting energy engineering and energy upgrades from start to finish "” including lighting, HVAC, controls, building envelope improvements, and compliance audits (ASHRAE Level I and II).Much of our work is on-site in the San Francisco Bay Area. Some travel (20%-30%) may be required.ResponsibilitiesGrowth and success of Project Engineers and Assistant Project EngineersEstimate project budgets and produce finished proposalsCollaborate with engineers to design high-value energy-saving measuresDevelop project scopes of work and bid packagesManage contracts with Owner and Subcontractors from start to finish, including change managementDrive on-time and on-budget projects with tight management of costs and scheduleClearly and effectively communicate with team and client, ensuring satisfaction and successful outcomesCoordinate onsite staff and contractorsOversee timely submittals and Operations and Maintenance Manual deliveryBridge between field realities and engineering design to meet or exceed energy saving goalsCollect, review and run calculations based on large data setsRequired Qualifications5+ years' experience as a project manager/estimator running successful projectsBachelor's degree preferably in STEM/Engineering relatedStrong problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects independentlyExceptional verbal and written communication skillsCustomer-focused and professional demeanorProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Microsoft ProjectWillingness and ability to travel regionally and nationallyClean DMV recordBonus SkillsMaster's Degree preferably in STEM/Engineering relatedEngineering background (mechanical, electrical, chemical, or related fields)Experience conducting compliance audits (ASHRAE Level I or II)Familiarity with energy efficiency technologies and retro-commissioning (RCx)Experience with control system programming or building automation systemsKnowledge of facilities maintenance practices and standardsStrong data entry and calculation skills, especially for energy modelingCoding experienceComfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in various indoor/outdoor conditionsPhysical RequirementsAbility to work on-site in commercial buildings, sometimes in tight, enclosed, or elevated spaces (e.g., mechanical rooms, rooftops, crawlspaces)Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8+ hours per day)Ability to lift and carry up to 60 poundsWhat We OfferMeaningful, mission-driven workCompetitive salaryMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) planFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Paid holidays and paid time off (PTO)
