What does a Production Carpenter do at Blackdog?Production Carpenters at Blackdog are an integral part of building our award-winning projects. They utilize their skills and knowledge, under the direction of one of our talented Lead Carpenters, to perform all tasks involved in residential remodeling. While not all skills listed below are required, it is expected that our Production Carpenters will continue to add to their current skillset while progressing through Blackdog's 5-tiered Ladder of Success. The desired skillset of a Production Carpenter include:Interior and Exterior TrimworkCabinet InstallationFramingDemolitionSiding and RoofingBlueprint ReadingDoor and Window InstallationDrywallHandyman Work In a Production Carpenter position you would be required to:Own your own basic set of carpentry tools to complete a variety of tasksHave a positive attitude and a good work ethicBe comfortable working on ladders and roofsWork both indoors and out in a mix of New England weather conditionsHave a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicleSuccessfully pass a background checkListen well, take instruction and work independently when neededAnd, most importantly, take pride in your work!
