Be part of a team that lives out its mission every day rooted in Christs love and Mennonite values and help create a home-like environment for residents transitioning from independent to assisted living.Position DetailsEvening Shift Week 1: 24 hours Week 2: 16 hours Includes every other weekendPay Range: $20.20 $21.85/hour +$1.00/hour Evening Shift Differential +$1.25/hour Weekend DifferentialWhat You'll Be DoingAs a Resident Assistant, youll play a key role in supporting residents with compassion, dignity, and respect. Your responsibilities will include:Assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, ambulation, etc.)Helping with mealtime needs in the dining room and during snacksProviding emotional support and companionship to residentsSupporting personal laundry, tidying of rooms, and phone useReporting changes in resident conditions to supervisory staffAccurately documenting care in electronic and paper recordsAssisting with admissions, discharges, and post-mortem care, as neededParticipating in activities and events to engage residents sociallyPromoting cleanliness, safety, and infection control protocolsWhat Were Looking ForA sincere desire to serve and care for older adultsAbility to work well under supervision and as part of a teamKind, respectful, and patient approach in all interactionsReliable, flexible, and able to maintain confidentiality (HIPAA)Physical ability to safely lift, transfer, and assist residents (up to 50 lbs)Note: Must be able to meet physical demands and remain calm under pressure in emergency or high-stress situations.Why Join Fairmount?At Fairmount, we do more than provide care we create community.
