BSA Investigator I - Fully OnsiteSummary: The BSA Investigator I supports the bank's compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), USA PATRIOT Act, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations. This role investigates suspicious transactions, monitors high-risk accounts, and ensures adherence to internal policies. The position works closely with the BSA Officer, internal teams, and may collaborate with law enforcement or regulators as needed.Please read the following job description thoroughly to ensure you are the right fit for this role before applying.Key Responsibilities:Investigate suspicious transactions and high-risk accounts in partnership with bank operations.Monitor and ensure compliance with BSA, AML, and USA PATRIOT Act requirements.Document and analyze case findings in the case management system.Escalate significant issues or findings to the BSA Officer.Assist in refining BSA investigation procedures and compliance processes.Stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices.Recommend risk mitigation strategies to senior management.Perform additional duties as assigned to support department goals.Qualifications:Education: High school diploma required; bachelor's in business, finance, or criminal justice preferred.Experience: Minimum 1 year in a BSA/AML role and 3+ years in banking; CAMS or CAFP certification and Verafin experience preferred.Skills:Strong attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skillsAbility to interpret and apply banking regulationsExcellent written and verbal communicationProfessionalism and discretion in handling sensitive informationProficiency in Word, Excel, and general office tools
