Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manager of Construction Budget and Estimates to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient at analyzing project specifications and preparing cost estimates. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and labor costs, as well as excellent communication skills. The salary for this position is $140k plus an extensive benefits package.You could be just the right applicant for this job Read all associated information and make sure to apply.ResponsibilitiesAssist with preparation of budget and cost estimates for business plan updates.Review pre-bid estimates to ensure alignment with Business Plan.Maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers on matters of cost.Review proposals to ensure the intended scope fits job and cost coding.Review Bid Packages for CFD compliance.Assist with troubleshooting construction issues in-field as they arise.ExperienceMinimum 4 years experience in off-site construction or development estimating. Familiarity with some of the following disciplines: Grading, Bridges, Underground Construction, Street Improvements, Landscape, Land Acquisition, Engineering Estimates, Construction Cost Forecasting.Civil Engineering and/or Landscape Architecture education or experience desired.Proficiency in or willingness to learn the following: Microsoft Office Suite, Blue Beam, Contracting code, CFD requirements for construction, ArcGIS, CADD, Lien laws, Wage laws.
