This role offers the opportunity to influence high-impact initiatives"”such as SaaS transitions, cloud migrations, and system modernizations"”while also contributing to company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.The ideal candidate is a strong analytical problem solver who thrives in both detailed financial modeling and executive-level presentation. You will partner cross-functionally with IT leadership, Finance, and Accounting to improve financial clarity, discipline, and decision-making across the organization. **PLEASE NOTE that this is a hybrid position and requires working onsite at our Plano, TX office three days each week. Responsibilities are as follows:Budgeting & ForecastingPartner with business and IT leaders to build, manage, and adjust annual operating and capital budgets as well as long-range forecasts.Provide analysis on reallocation, timing shifts, and business trade-offs, offering insights to support decision-making.Maintain rolling projections updated for actuals, project timelines, and strategic changes. Financial Reporting & AnalysisDevelop financial dashboards and recurring reports that provide insight into spend, trends, and forecasts.Reconcile monthly budget data with financial/accounting systems and present concise summaries to leadership.Conduct ad hoc analysis, deep dives, and special studies to identify cost drivers, savings opportunities, and investment needs. Project & Investment ManagementTrack and analyze budgets for strategic projects (including IT initiatives like SaaS transitions, cloud migrations, and infrastructure upgrades).Monitor capital investments, committed funds, and actuals year-to-date, ensuring alignment with business goals.Support accruals, allocations, and invoice reconciliation in partnership with Accounting. Vendor & Contract Oversight (IT-Focused)Review purchase requests, vendor contracts (SOWs, MSAs), and renewals to confirm alignment with budgets and organizational priorities.Track contract submissions, approvals, and new commitments to maintain accurate forecasts.Ensure financial documentation is audit-ready and follows internal policies and regulatory requirements. Executive Communication & Leadership SupportPrepare and deliver clear, actionable financial presentations for senior leadership and the Board.Translate complex financial and technical details into relevant business insights and recommendations. Continuous ImprovementSee opportunities to improve forecasting processes, financial controls, and return on investment.Recommend cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements across IT and other business functions. Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA/CPA/CFA a plus.5+ years of financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance experience (technology/IT finance background preferred but not required).Advanced Excel skills for modeling and analysis; experience with financial systems (Essbase, Power BI) preferred.Strong PowerPoint skills and confidence presenting to senior leaders and advisory board members.Ability to build collaborative partnerships and explain financial concepts to non-financial partners.Familiarity with consumer lending, credit services, or banking operations to align IT spend with business drivers.A proactive, meticulous approach with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
