Akkodis is seeking Electronic Technician Contract with a direct client in Grand Rapids MI 49512Skills, Experience, Qualifications, If you have the right match for this opportunity, then make sure to apply today.Pay Range: $35/hour to $39/hour; The rate may be negotiable within this range based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Position: Electronic TechnicianLocation: Grand Rapids MI 49512Duration:12+ monthsTesting product and debugging - black box, circuit cards (could have up to 4,000 parts on them) analog cards, digital cards-Using schematics, oscilloscopes, multimeters-Building cables, circuit cards for test equipment-Must be able to solder and build test equipment, cables (crimping)-Must have experience, not a fresh out-12 Month contract - could potentially be hired but not guaranteed, lots of work to do, one person out on leave$30-$39/hr - inflation may rise it a bitMilitary training could take the place of traditional educationMonday-Friday First shift with some Overtime availableLab environment, not a cleanroom - ESD and a wriststrapWe are looking for a highly skilled electronic technicianEssential Skills1. Product (Box and Circuit Card level) test and debug in analog, digital, and microprocessor type circuits.2. Custom test equipment build and checkout along use strong experience using oscilloscopes, DMM's, function generators.3. Soldering small find pitch SMT (0402, QFN, LCP etc.) Must be able to solder and do assembly/dis-assembly of test equipment and product and maintain solder certification.4. Developing (Generating) thorough reports on data gathered for engineers including offering preliminary conclusions.5. At least one of the other three types of technical skills/knowledge listed below:a. A working knowledge of windows software and lower level programming (JTAG programming is a plus)b. Working knowledge of computers, networks setup, and IT securityc. Knowledge of active and passive electronic devices to determine the required tests, select appropriate test equipment and analyze the performance characteristics of active and passive electronic devices.Qualifications/Requirements3 to 5 years work experience working as a technicianMinimum or two-year Electronic Technician degree, or equivalent work experience, or 4-year Electrical Engineering DegreeDesired Characteristics· Work closely with the cross-functional team to ensure quality products and processes are developed and deployed· Strong oral and written communication skills· Strong interpersonal skills· Ability to work independently· Strong problem-solving skills· A working knowledge of windows software and lower level programming (JTAG programming is a plus)· Knowledge of computers, networks setup, and IT security· Knowledge of active and passive electronic devices to determine the required tests, select appropriate test equipment and analyze the performance characteristics of active and passive electronic devices.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, an EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
