Based in Needham, MA, the firm offers deep expertise across corporate law, litigation, real estate, and trusts and estates, combining personalized service with senior-level attention in a boutique, client-focused environment.The information below covers the role requirements, expected candidate experience, and accompanying qualifications.The Opportunity:The firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to support one of its founding Partners. This role offers the chance to work alongside a senior attorney specializing in civil and business litigation, including financial services, securities, estate and probate, and professional malpractice. He represents corporations, small businesses, wealth management firms, broker-dealers, Registered Investment Advisors, and individuals across Massachusetts and New England, with extensive experience in securities disputes, enforcement actions, and regulatory matters before FINRA, the SEC, and other bodies.The associate will assist the partner by researching the law, drafting motions and pleadings, managing discovery, deposing witnesses, and representing clients in court and other proceedings, while collaborating on case strategy with senior attorneys and keeping clients informed of case developments.With lower billable hour expectations than many larger Boston firms, the firm allows attorneys to focus on meaningful work and professional growth within a collaborative, supportive environment.Qualifications:2+ years of experience in general litigation, including drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, conducting legal research, and assisting with trial preparationAdmission to practice in Massachusetts is requiredStrong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills
