Air Squared offers exciting career opportunities working on projects including NASA MOXIE, Leading Electric and Autonomous Vehicle OEM, DOE Clean Energy initiatives ranging from nuclear fusion and the Advanced Research Projects Agency - Energy (ARPA-e), and other cutting-edge projects. We are looking for a Buyer III who has a balance of high-level of strategic planning/implementation and tactical responsibilities to support daily production.Pay Range: $70,000 - $85,000 / year, based on qualifications and experienceCompany Benefits include:Health Insurance through CignaDental and Vision InsuranceEmployer paid Long Term Disability InsuranceEmployer paid Life Insurance with option for additional Voluntary Life Insurance401(k) Retirement planSafety shoe allowance3-weeks PTO, accrual starting on day one8 paid holidays plus paid Birthday holidayParental LeaveCompany Perks include:Quarterly company lunchesAnnual company picnic for employees and their familiesFun Department activitiesCompany Happy Hours and other fun events throughout the yearCasual dress codeEmployee Referral ProgramVolunteer opportunitiesTuition ReimbursementBuyer III Job Responsibilities:Submit RFQs and generate and maintain Purchase Orders for all material requirementsResearch and find new suppliers and maintain relationships with current suppliersBuild relationships with suppliers to negotiate best pricing and improve supplier on-time deliveryMonitor and maintain inventory levels and work with scheduling team to establish improved JIT practicesKeep up with market and procurement trends for availability of product and servicesWork with Sales and Project Management teams on lead times, delivery issues, and onboarding of new projects and customersCoordinate with the Supplier Quality team to process any material issues/concernsWork with Logistics team to arrange transport of goods and ensure on-time deliveryEngage with Engineering for drawing changes, routers and BOM changesGenerate reports for management related to schedules and costsActively engage in risk assessment and support Supply Chain Manager in improving supply chain resilienceManage, mentor, and direct other members of the purchasing team to improve overall organization effectivenessWork with upper management to proactively plan future resource needs or identify constraints as necessaryInterface with Accounts Payable to handle invoice disputes as neededTravel to supplier locations as necessarySign off on ECNs when requiredDevelop Power BI reporting, creating dashboards, and other management toolsPerform other duties as assignedBuyer III Qualifications:MUST SUBMIT RESUME TO BE CONSIDEREDBachelors degree in business, supply chain or related field (preferred)Minimum of 5-years experience in a sourcing and/or purchasing role (required) in an ISO Certified manufacturing environment (preferred)Must be highly proficient in utilizing ERP Systems (Global Shop preferred)Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skillsStrong interpersonal skills to work with team members and suppliersNegotiation Skills to work with suppliers and make better deals for the companyMust demonstrate strong PC and MS Office suite skills with an intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Excel (required)Ability to create reports, metrics and dashboards to drive continuous improvement using Power BI (required)Location: Thornton, ColoradoHow to Apply: Range: $70,000 - $85,000 / year, based on qualifications and experienceFor information on Air Squared, visit our website at you need an accommodation seeking employment with Air Squared, please email or call (303) 466-2669.
