ECP is a World Class Company.Find out more about the daily tasks, overall responsibilities, and required experience for this opportunity by scrolling down now.The Revenue Specialist is responsible for collaborating with the members of the AR Unit to facilitate the collection of payments from clients on behalf of the company. In addition, the position supports tenant relationships and ensuring compliance with company guidelines.Requirements:This position is responsible for:Lead collection efforts for accounts assigned to the employee.Monitor tenant ledgers for outstanding balances.Implement procedures to reduce outstanding balances and collect them.Prepare and report on a weekly basis an AR aging report and Collections report.Work with internal and external counsel on accounts that cannot be resolved.Review tenant ledgers in order to identify inconsistencies or other issues.Negotiate with tenants as per ECP protocols and processes.Maintain financial security by adhering to internal controls.Maintain and develop tenant relationship efforts, reply to email communications in a timely manner and answer tenant phone calls.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Time and process management, including the ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous deadlines, set priorities, and work under pressureExperience with Accounts Receivable best practices, tenant billing cycles and collection proceduresKnowledge of local collection debt laws, codes and practicesNegotiation skills and experienceAccuracy and attention to detailAccounting and superlative quantitative skillsIntegrity, discretion, and respect for confidentiality and privacyExcellent oral communication skills and the ability to resolve misunderstandings and errors in a diplomatic mannerTyping, computing, and data entry skillsAnalytical skillsOrganizational skillsDocumentation skillsRequired:4+ years experience working in collections or Accounts Receivable unitPreferred:Preferred - Associates or bachelors in accounting, finance, economics or business managementAt Ethan Conrad Properties, we pride ourselves on our collaborative culture, which can be seen throughout every step of an ECP employee's journey.
