Chief Financial Officer (CFO)Are you a hands-on, growth-oriented finance leader looking to make an impact? A growing distribution firm in Glendale has an exceptional opportunity for an entrepreneurial and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO)/Controller. This is a highly hands-on role that goes beyond traditional delegation, requiring strong involvement in month-end close processes and general ledger management. The ideal candidate will work closely with the CEO, providing financial leadership while shaping the company's operational and strategic objectives during an exciting growth phase.Is this your next job Read the full description below to find out, and do not hesitate to make an application.Key Responsibilities:Financial LeadershipPrepare monthly financial statements and operating performance summaries.Conduct monthly and quarterly profitability analyses by product line.Oversee all financial operations, including general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, and inventory reporting and analysis.Manage banking relations, cash flow statements, and tax preparation in collaboration with corporate tax accountants.Develop and implement financial policies and procedures in compliance with GAAP.Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes alongside the CEO.Operational OversightSupervise HR functions, payroll, employee benefits management, and compliance with employment policies.Coordinate with external partners, including PEO (ADP) representatives, insurance brokers, and legal professionals.Manage administrative and operational aspects of the business, offering leadership in areas like IT and other key functions as needed.Strategic CollaborationPartner closely with the CEO to guide the organization through its growth trajectory toward a future exit.Establish robust systems for financial analytics and forecasting to inform key business decisions.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required; MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience, including proven success as a CFO or equivalent role in a small to mid-sized, privately held organization.Advanced proficiency in MS Office with strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
