At the heart of Dejager Design Inc.'s philosophy is a commitment to individuality"”each project is a unique reflection of the client's personality, unbound by traditional or contemporary labels, allowing for a pure and personalized expression of passion and imagination in design. We are currently looking for an ambitious, experienced individual who is passionate about interior design to join our team as a full-time Interior Design | FF&E Coordinator. The FF&E Coordinator will be responsible for managing projects from the furniture conceptual stage through construction completion to the final furnishings installation and reveal.Who You AreThe ideal candidate for this position will be a self-starter who is both experienced in and passionate about interior design for high-end residential homes. You have a proven track record of success managing multiple ongoing projects. If asked for references, those who you've worked with previously, from in-house teams to clients to contractors and consultants, would all speak highly of your professionalism and positive demeanor in your communications. You are flexible and enjoy work that requires frequent shifts in direction. You are solution-oriented and will have a high level of product knowledge and a proactive ability to research, source, and specify finishes, materials, and furnishings in a variety of design aesthetics and budgets. You take direction extremely well, listen well, and are mindful to ensure you're adhering to existing firm philosophies, while being fully capable of confidently taking the lead on your projects. Above all, you are a team player who thrives in high pressure environments to meet deadlines with enthusiasm, steadiness and calm.What You'll DoThe primary responsibilities for this position involves the management of multiple ongoing projects and acting as a liaison between client, Principal and Design Team. Specific responsibilities may include but are not limited to:Coordination of FF&E to include furniture proposals, site measurements, subcontractor coordination, purchasing, tracking and installation of all interior furnishings, lighting, window treatments, carpets and accessories from concept to completion. Manage vendor communication, proposals and procurement logisticsPrepare and track FF&E schedules, proposals, and budgets through StudioWebApprove CFA's, shop drawings and finishesCollaborate with the internal design team to maintain design intent through procurement. Oversee order tracking, deliveries, and final installation timelines. Assist in maintaining project documentation and status reporting. Participate in client and vendor meetings as needed. QualificationsAuthorized to work in the US for any employer.Must have a personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and an ability and willingness to travel between offices and client's sites in Southern California.Bachelor's in Interior Design preferred.3-5+ years of experience in all phases of luxury interior design projects requiredTech savvy, skilled with Google Suite, Apple Pages, etc. required.Proficiency in Studio Web.Proficiency in SketchUp.Required:In-office position working Monday-Friday primarily in Newport Beach with site visits throughout Orange County and Los Angeles.Please submit the following for consideration: Cover Letter, CV, Creative Portfolio (if applicable), and 2 Professional References, required.Compensation and Benefits Salaried, FLSA Exempt (Not Eligible for Overtime)Base Compensation Range: $80,000 - $105,000/year + Discretionary BonusesPaid Time Off: 10 Days Paid Vacation to include Office Closure between Christmas and New Year's, 6 Paid Holidays and 3 Days Paid Sick LeaveRetirement Plan (following 1 year of service) Employer-Sponsored Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance BenefitsAnnual Professional Development Reimbursement StipendPersonal Device / Cell Phone Reimbursement + Paid Parking
