Insurance Coordinator - Specialty

Job Duties including (but not limited to) the following:Responsible for insurance verification for new and existing specialty patients by phone or using pharmacy software or payer portals.Responsible for insurance re-verification for all specialty restart patientsResponsible for insurance re-verification for all specialty patients at the beginning of each month and each new year.Responsible for advanced monitoring expiring authorizations for existing specialty patientsResponsible for securing advanced re-authorization for existing specialty patients.Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies.Qualifications:Excellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent customer service skills and ability to understand and communicate technical issuesPrior experience in pharmacy or home health company is preferredPrior experience in a consumer related business is preferredYou could be just the right applicant for this job Read all associated information and make sure to apply.Desired Skills and ExperienceInsurance verification, Insurance authorization, Pharmaceutical industry, administrative, data entry, customer serviceAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
