The ideal candidate will have a blend of client, vendor and peer relationship building skill, lighting competency, aptitude for detail, desire to win and effectiveness contributing to positive company culture. An experienced Estimator will be trained on WB processed + standards, and integrated into the team based on experience level.GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESManage the overall execution of the project bidding phaseExtensive and effective collaboration and coordination with the Client, Client's Design Team, Sales, Jr. Estimators and Project ManagersAnalyze and evaluate architectural drawingsProduce lighting fixture and controls quantity take-offsIdentify and RFI discrepancies in specifications and drawingsRequest pricing and lead times through vendorsProduce comprehensive lighting quotationsProduce submittal packagesSKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSFive+ years' of experience in Lighting Estimating/ Quotations requiredProven ability to build successful internal and external relationshipsA strong aptitude and appreciation for the detail requiredExperience reviewing construction plans, specifications, and other related construction documentsExperience with Bluebeam software (or similar on screen take off software)Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word)Strong verbal and written communications skillStrong time management and organizational skillPositive customer service skillsPositive attitudeTeachableWiedenbach Brown is an equal opportunity employer.
