Position Overview: The Interim HR Manager/Consultant will oversee day-to-day HR operations while mentoring and developing our current HR Assistant into a future HR Manager role. This role requires a hands-on HR professional with strong leadership, coaching, and payroll experience (Paycor preferred) to ensure smooth operations and compliance while fostering professional growth within the team.Apply promptly! A high volume of applicants is expected for the role as detailed below, do not wait to send your CV.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage day-to-day HR operations, serving as the primary HR resource during the interim period.Mentor, train, and guide the current HR Assistant with the goal of preparing them for a manager-level role.Oversee full-cycle payroll processing using Paycor, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.Support employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with state and federal labor laws.Provide guidance on HR best practices, policies, and procedures to strengthen HR infrastructure.Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives as needed.Collaborate with leadership to ensure HR aligns with organizational goals and supports a positive workplace culture.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; HR certifications (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SCP) a plus. 5+ years of progressive HR management/generalist experience, preferably in financial services or a regulated industry.
