DescriptionYou could be just the right applicant for this job Read all associated information and make sure to apply.The Warehouse Associate receives, stores and distributes material, equipment and products in the warehouse. Essential FunctionsMaterials HandlingAssist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing.Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.Filling requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area.Marking materials with identifying information using appropriate method.Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.SafetyComplies with all OSHA safety requirements, work rules and regulationsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs safely, utilizing proper body mechanicsReports unsafe conditions and behaviors to their supervisorMaintains the cleanliness of their work areasGeneral and Administrative Basic computer skills are requiredMust be able to read, speak, and write in EnglishSupports the corporate vision, mission and valuesCommunicates effectively with various management and operational departments Complies with all OSHA safety requirements, work rules and regulationsCompiles and maintains all required paperwork, records, documents, etc. Follows systems and procedures outlined in company manualsAll other duties as requested by managementWork ScheduleThis role is 100% on-site, Monday-Friday. Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, and Friday 8am-3pm. QualificationsFormal Education and CertificationHigh school diploma requiredKnowledge and ExperienceSolid, dependable history of safe, consistent workExperience utilizing material handling equipmentForklift experience is required The ability to do basic math and take measurements is highly desirablePersonal AttributesDependability and consistency of work ethicSuperior depth perception and hand-eye coordinationOutstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills Desire to serveVetoquinol USA is an equal opportunity employer.
