Established retail company in Farmingdale, NY is looking for 2 Internet Sales Reps to join their team. This individual will play a key role in managing online sales, engaging with customers across multiple digital platforms, and ensuring a smooth, customer-centric shopping experience. The Internet Sales Representative will work closely with marketing and operations teams to drive sales growth, meet customer needs, and uphold the brand's reputation for excellence.Make sure to apply quickly in order to maximise your chances of being considered for an interview Read the complete job description below.The position is paying $18/hour and ideal for anyone who has sales or account management experience that wants to get their foot in the door with a large reputable company.2 shifts: 1 person for each shift4 days during the week (9-6) then Saturday (9-4)4 days during the week (9-6) then Sunday (11-5)Key Responsibilities:Respond promptly to customer inquiries via inbound and outbound calls, email, chat, and other online channels, providing information about products, pricing, promotions, and order status.Assist customers in navigating the website to facilitate online purchases and offer product recommendations based on their needs.Handle post-sale inquiries, including order tracking, returns, exchanges, and product support.Collaborate with the marketing team to promote online sales, including seasonal campaigns, special offers, and email newsletters.Ensure all product listings are accurate, up-to-date, and optimized for search engines (SEO).Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales transactions using CRM software.Monitor and analyze online sales trends, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.Provide feedback to the merchandising team on customer preferences, stock levels, and product demand.Maintain a high level of product knowledge to provide customers with detailed insights and help them make informed purchasing decisions.Work towards achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).Previous experience in sales, Account Management, or e-commerce is highly preferred.Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).Ability to quickly learn about products and services.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Positive attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for customer service.Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.Familiarity with online sales platforms and tools, including Shopify, Magento, or similar platforms, is a plus.
