Akkodis is seeking Electrical Technician Contract with a direct client in Columbus 43085, OHAre you the right applicant for this opportunity Find out by reading through the role overview below.Pay Range: $20.00-$24.00 per hour The rate may be negotiable within this range based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Position: Electrical TechnicianLocation: Columbus 43085, OHDuration:12+ months to hireJob Summary:The Test Technician - bench is responsible for performing verification testing on circuit boards and various assemblies.Key Responsibilities:• Responsibilities involve performing testing and troubleshooting with basic meters and associated equipment.• Basic circuit analysis• Interrupt schematics and assembly prints• Perform verification testing on circuit boards and various assemblies.• Any additional tasks as deemed necessaryMinimum Qualifications:The Test Technician must have a technology background experience in power electronics and a versatile hands-on individual with good analytical skills. Experience with power in the ranges of 480 VAC 3phase and 240 VDC. DC/AC principles and electrical language.Diploma or Certificate in Electronics program or equivalent experience or Military equivalent experienceDesired Qualifications:• Must possess electrical and mechanical aptitude and basic skills with electro/mechanical assembly and must be proficient with the use hand tools.• Must have knowledge in the use of multi-meters and other basic instruments. Have basic knowledge in the use of multi-purpose test instruments such as oscilloscopes, component testers, digital test equipment.• Possess the ability to read: wiring diagrams, assembly prints, schematics and parts lists and have a basic understanding of electronic circuits.• Must be computer literate and have some knowledge of MS Word and Excel.• Must possess the ability to work in a team environment as well as being able to manage time with little supervision. Ability to multitask is a must.• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills and troubleshooting skills.• Possess some knowledge of AC/DC power electronics.
