Maintenance TechnicianPay: $25 - $29/hr. per hour plus Shift Differential: $2.00 per hourConsidering making an application for this job Check all the details in this job description, and then click on Apply.Shift & Working Hours: Sun- Thur; 11pm - 7:30AM; overtime as needed.Sign- On Bonus: $2000.00 to be paid on the following schedule: $500.00 after 30 days of continuous employment, $750.00 after 6 months of continuous employment, and $750.00 after 12 months of continuous employmentJob SummaryThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining plant processing, facility, and support equipment.Required Qualifications & Experiences18 years or older.6+ months prior industrial maintenance experience, knowledge and/or education.Basic computer skills.Communicates work order progress to supervisor and production operators.Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions, and possess basic mathematical skills.Possess mechanical aptitude. Some experience with mechanical systems, utilizing product manuals, troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns, and reading mechanical drawings.Preferred Qualifications & ExperiencesHigh School Diploma or GED.3+ years experience with basic electrical systems, compressors, welding, plumbing, conveyers, hydraulics, packaging, PLC, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, and pumps.Forklift experience preferred or willing to be trained for certification.Ensures a safe working environment for self and others while performing assigned tasks.Able to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to effectively work with a variety of people and departments.Ability to be flexible in work performed and schedule.Self-reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervision.Customer focused and able to work in a collaborative team.Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesAdhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs).Communicates work order progress to supervisor and production operators.Work in cold and/or hot temperatures throughout the day.Ensures a safe working environment while performing assigned tasks.Follows all procedures, GMPS, Safety, Quality, and Sanitation plans.Ability to identify and report all potentially non-confirming product and equipment to Supervisor and the Quality Assurance Department.Other duties as assigned.Essential Physical RequirementsFrequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements.Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment.Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust is present.Shift schedules that include days, nights, and weekends, some holidays and periodic overtime.About Land O'Lakes, Inc.Join us and be part of a Fortune 250, farmer- and member-owned cooperative that is reimagining the business of food.
