We are a well-established law firm in Albany, NY, specializing in construction litigation. We are currently seeking a Construction Litigation Associate to join our dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging cases, including construction defect, commercial construction disputes, and property damage.Responsibilities:As a Construction Litigation Associate, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:1. Representing clients in construction defect, commercial construction disputes, and property damage cases.2. Conducting thorough and detailed investigations to gather all relevant facts and evidence.3. Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.4. Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients.5. Advising clients on their legal rights and options.6. Presenting cases in court, articulating arguments, and engaging in cross-examinations.7. Keeping abreast of changes in construction laws and regulations.8. Collaborating with the legal team to develop effective strategies for each case.9. Maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to professional ethics.Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the Construction Litigation Associate role will have:1. Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.2. Admission to the New York State Bar.3.
