This role is for a Quality Control Technician who will be responsible for ensuring products meet quality standards and customer specifications. You'll perform in-process and final inspections, as well as monitor quality procedures.Please read the following job description thoroughly to ensure you are the right fit for this role before applying.Must have experience with weld inspection and pressure testing of vessels!Responsibilities :Inspect and pressure test equipment to the company and ASME BPVC Code standards.Ensure that finished goods and products meet or exceed both company standards and customer specifications.Make sure test equipment is calibrated and working correctly.Gather test data and draft quality reports.Read and interpret manufacturing drawings.Identify potential areas for improving quality control processes.Report quality anomalies to your supervisor.Qualifications:A high school diploma or GED is required, and some college is preferred.You should have 2 to 5 years of experience as a quality or inspection technician or specialist, specifically with pressure vessels and process piping.Experience using measuring devices like calipers, micrometers, and measuring tapes is necessary.You must be able to read and interpret technical drawings and weld symbolsThe role requires a high level of visual awareness and attention to detail, as well as advanced organizational and multitasking skills.You should be able to work independently with minimal supervision.The job requires you to stand for long periods, climb ladders, and lift to 35 lbs.Pay: $18-$23hrZip code: 77041If you are interested, please apply at our website: /houstonnw/
