POSITION IS LOCATED IN TORRANCE, CA (LOS ANGELES COUNTY).Are you ready to apply Make sure you understand all the responsibilities and tasks associated with this role before proceeding.*HYBRID (4 DAYS ONSITE PER WEEK) *CONTRACT ROLE: OPEN-ENDED IN DURATION. *NO CORP TO CORPJob Description:Analyzes business partner's operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functionsAssists in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technologyTranslates high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specificationsNegotiates agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementationWorks with business partners within one business function to align technology solutions with business strategiesSupports several moderately complex business processesAssists Project Managers in development of project plans and use associated project planning tools as neededAssumes the Project Manager responsibilities in preparing and facilitating the project plan for smaller projectsConducts feasibility studies to assess cost/benefit, efficiency and technical viability of solutions to business problemsCoaches less experience staffAcademic/Experience/Competency:4 to 6 years of relevant technical or business work experienceBachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience.Basic knowledge of business requirement and corporate prioritiesBasic ability to gather/refine complex business requirements, recommend or make decisions on business requirements/interdependenciesBasic ability to develop complex business casesBasic ability to create impact analysis to make recommendationsBasic ability to present and defend complex positions and strategies for business decisions processes and plansBasic knowledge of compliance, governance structures and audit principlesBasic understanding of the business architecture and its relationship to other architecturesBasic ability to assess corporate impacts of changes and recommend strategies to senior managementTasks completed on a daily, weekly, monthly or annual basis, project assigned:Business system Analysis for Enterprise-wide digital transformation projects involving a large set of stake-holders & dependenciesSystem Analysis for Assigned Projects & Enhancements to new or existing systems Following Honda's SDLC methodology(Agile & Waterfall) and deliverablesWorkstop facilitation(e.g. JAD Sessions), data analysis,business process and workflow analysisGather, refine, and validate complex business requirements and combine into a clear and prioritized backlog.Occassionally manage project plan, staff tasks and progress & report statusCo-ordinate, schedule and chair meetings with multiple stakeholders & distribute meeting minutesSupporting Production Systems as neededCreating & executing test cases(Whitebox & blackbox) that involve complex batch and online processingCreate presentation & communication material relevant to a variety of stake holders including businessKnowledge, skills, abilities, traits, certifications, years of experience, to successfully perform job function:Big plus:Automotive industry background, business acumen & understanding of OEM-Dealer eco-system & digital Sales process for retailing Automobiles onlineRequired Skills:Experience delivering consumer facing websites, digital platforms or services that involve complex data, transactions & integrationsStrong hands-on experience with Agile & Waterfall Delivery modelsExperience with Workshop facilitation (e.g., JAD Sessions. Empathy mapping etc.), data analysis, business process and workflow analysis/creationClear communication skills and ability to communicate and negotiate with stakeholdersAbility to collaborate well with a diverse set of team members (team player)Technical background to clearly understand complex business requirements and benefits of assigned projectsAbility to innovate and multi-task with minimal oversightPreferred Skills:Automotive industry background &business acumen, familiarity with lead management, vehicle sales, financing process and CRMs, OEM, Customer & Dealer Interaction models & related Business ProcessesFamiliarity with Jira/Confluence tools to manage project artifacts, user stories, test cases etc.Ability to perform the role of scrum-master (when needed)Nice to have:Familiarity with Salesforce ecosystem/family of ProductsThe hiring range for this position is $60.00 to $80.00 per hour, which factors in various geographic regions.
