The Law Offices of John Salazar, P.C. is interviewing for a litigation attorney position at our personal injury law firm in downtown Dallas. We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated attorney with a strong background in personal injury law to join our legal team. We seek conscientious, motivated, and organized candidates with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience litigating personal injury claims.Apply promptly! A high volume of applicants is expected for the role as detailed below, do not wait to send your CV.*Responsibilities to handle a busy litigation docket include* :* Understanding of the laws and statutes that apply to the potential recovery of each case* Provide legal counsel to clients, explaining legal processes and potential outcomes in clear and understandable terms.* Building strong attorney-client relationships based on trust, empathy, and effective communication.* Prepare and file legal documents, including discovery, motions, and briefs, accurately and within deadlines.* Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.* Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel, insurance companies, and other parties to secure favorable settlements for clients.* Prepare for and attend trial as a first chair attorney* Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case progress.* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys, sharing your expertise and helping them develop their skills.*Qualifications:** Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.* Active license to practice law in the State of Texas* Minimum of 3-5 years of litigation experience with a primary focus on personal injury law.* Proven track record of successfully litigating personal injury cases, including trials and settlements.* Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills.* Strong negotiation and advocacy abilities.* Leadership qualities and a demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior attorneys.* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.* High level of professionalism, ethics, and integrity.If you are a skilled and motivated Litigation Attorney, we invite you to join our team.
