Sales Specialist

The Sales Specialist in  Grand Rapids, MI  supports the Business Development Managers and Amphenol Sales Team members to drive completion and closure of bidding activities. The Sales Specialist works with the Pricing and Engineering teams to gather and communicate information to the Sales team members and customers.  The Sales Specialist helps drive sales by Mapping out customer programs and requirements.Below covers everything you need to know about what this opportunity entails, as well as what is expected from applicants.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate activities with the Amphenol Sales teamParticipate in off-site visits to build and retain strong relationshipsAssist with twelve-month forecasts that include, sales goals, projections, and growthWork with the Purchasing team, Engineering team, Suppliers and Customers to facilitate bid opportunitiesAssist with the preparation of proposals and communicate to customersProvide pricing and technical assistance to both internal and external customersHelp facilitate the effective hand-off of information from bid to contract performance phaseFacilitate pricing opportunities in a timely mannerResearch the defense, aerospace and space market conditions to determine potential business opportunitiesLead the development, delivery, and maintenance of marketing and sales materialsParticipate in launch support teamsProvide excellent Customer Service to external customers to ensure a high level of customer supportJob RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or related discipline, strongly preferred3-4 years of experience in customer service, sales and/or marketing, strongly preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint10% TravelAt Amphenol Borisch Technologies we live our Core Values.
